Barry Aigy — honey farm, pistachio orchard, and sustainable mountain tourism.
AGRIGULTURE and AGRITOURISM
Barry Aygi— where nature, honey, and mountain experiences come together.

Barry Aygi is a unique agro-tourism destination located in the mountains of Armenia.  Idea of the Agriculural business started when our family decided to grow organic vegetables and fruits, raise chickens, make honey in order for the family eat healthy.
The project combines a working honey farm, a pistachio orchard, educational programs, tastings, and immersive outdoor experiences — creating a space where visitors can discover nature, learn, relax, and enjoy authentic local products.

Our apiary is surrounded by natural wildflowers, herbs, and high-altitude mountain landscapes. Guests can experience the full journey of honey — from the hive to the jar.

What we offer:
  • Guided tours of the apiary

  • Observation of bees in safe protective suits

  • Beekeeping demonstrations

  • Participation in honey extraction (seasonal)

  • Educational sessions for families, schools, and tourists

  • Honey tasting

2. Pistachio Orchard & Mountain Agriculture (Coming in2030)

Our growing pistachio orchard showcases sustainable agriculture in high-altitude conditions.

For visitors:
  • Walks through the orchard

  • Educational sessions on pistachio cultivation

  • Seasonal harvest experiences

  • “Pistachio Terrace” — a small café offering pistachio cream, roasted nuts, sweets, and pistachio ice cream

We also organize special Pistachio Harvest Weekends with live music and tastings.

3. Sustainable Mountain Tourism

The project promotes ecological awareness and supports biodiversity. Bees play a crucial role in maintaining the balance of wild plants and local agriculture — especially pistachios, herbs, and fruit trees.

Our sustainability principles include:
  • No use of chemicals or harmful treatments

  • Support for pollinator biodiversity

  • Conservation of native mountain plants

  • Eco-friendly farming practices

  • Educational programs for visitors
